4giving can be used with no platform fees for transactions under $100. For donations under $100, no platform/security fee is included - but the option to provide a 4giving a tip is available. Please note: transactions over $100 will automatically include a 5% platform/security fee. However, at checkout, 4giving gives donors the opportunity to cover the costs of the credit card and platform/security fees. These tips/fees allow organizations and causes to start fundraisers and use our services and features free of charge.

Our credit card processor, Stripe, charges a per donation transaction fee. This is usually 2.9% + $0.30 per successful card charge. Here is more information about Stripe's fee.

4giving also offers the ability to turn off tips. When tipping is turned off, your organization will pay Stripe's credit card processing fee (2.9% + $0.30/transaction) plus a 5% 4giving platform/security fee for all transactions. As noted, at checkout, donors can optionally choose to cover these charges on your behalf.
